This indeed is the Veda (the ultimate Knowledge), thus ends the Upanishad (giving the message of the all-freeing Brahman Consciousness embodied as Ganapati and fresh hope to all)

Natraj strotram- Powerful hymn by Sage Patanjali

NATRAJ STOTRAM

The strot that is beginningless and endless.

15 years Back when first time I listened this strotram from the voice of Prof. Thiagarjan, i can't forget that moment. It was nearly 3.00 AM Night time, my whole body was trembling, like kundalini awakening, i can feel the energy and light in my each cells of body. I was in deep meditative state for one hour. I can feel the dance of shiva in each cells of my body and in the whole universe. Sharing today the amazing strotram by Sage Patanjali who is master of all types of Yoga.

One who recites this hymn, quickly reaches the highest goal and does not steep into the ocean of worldly existence which causes great sorrow and sinfulness.

One who learns it by heart and recites it will find a seat in the assembly of Shiva.

This hymn is by Sage Patanjali, the author and compiler of the famous yogasuutra. Once upon a time, as the story of the origin of the hymn goes, Nandi, Shiva's carrier would not allow Patanjali Muni to have Darshan of the Lord Shiva (Nataraja of Chidambaram). In order to reach Lord Shiva, Patanjali, with his mastery over grammatical forms, spontaneously composed this prayer in praise of the Lord without using any extended (`diirgham') syllable, (without `charaNa' and `shringa' i.e. leg and horn) to tease Nandi.

Shiva was quickly pleased, gave Darshan to the devotee, and danced to the lilting tune of this song. The place where this incidence is said to have happened is Chidambaram (also known as Thillai), located about a hundred miles from Madras, Tamilnadu, India. It is considered to be one of the holiest places in India. In this temple, Lord Nataraja is present in a cosmic-dancing form.

Heart Sutra - prajnaparamita

Today is the divine day of Buddha Purnima.

Penetrate the true meaning of the Heart Sutra, and nothing will be the same again. The secret is to read it again and again and meditate on the wisdom. This is one of my favorite sutra, when I read, I become empty.

The Heart Sutra

Avalokiteshvara, the Bodhisattva of Compassion, meditating deeply on Perfection of Wisdom, saw clearly that the five aspects of human existence are empty,  and so released himself from suffering.  Answering the monk Sariputra, he said this:

Body is nothing more than emptiness,

emptiness is nothing more than body.

The body is exactly empty,

and emptiness is exactly body.

The other four aspects of human existence --

feeling, thought, will, and consciousness --

are likewise nothing more than emptiness,

and emptiness nothing more than they.

All things are empty:

Nothing is born, nothing dies,

nothing is pure, nothing is stained,

nothing increases and nothing decreases.

So, in emptiness, there is no body,

no feeling, no thought,

no will, no consciousness.

There are no eyes, no ears,

no nose, no tongue,

no body, no mind.

There is no seeing, no hearing,

no smelling, no tasting,

no touching, no imagining.

There is nothing seen, nor heard,

nor smelled, nor tasted,

nor touched, nor imagined.

There is no ignorance,

and no end to ignorance.

There is no old age and death,

and no end to old age and death.

There is no suffering, no cause of suffering,

no end to suffering, no path to follow.

There is no attainment of wisdom,

and no wisdom to attain.

The Bodhisattvas rely on the Perfection of Wisdom,

and so with no delusions,

they feel no fear,

and have Nirvana here and now.

All the Buddhas,

past, present, and future,

rely on the Perfection of Wisdom,

and live in full enlightenment.

The Perfection of Wisdom is the greatest mantra.

It is the clearest mantra,

the highest mantra,

the mantra that removes all suffering.

This is truth that cannot be doubted.

Say it so:

Gaté,

gaté,

paragaté,

parasamgaté.

Bodhi!

Svaha!

Which means...

Gone,

gone,

gone over,

gone fully over.

Awakened!

So be it!

Hear then the great dharani,

the radiant peerless mantra,

the prajnaparamita

whose words allay all pain;

hear and believe its truth!

gate gate paragate parasamgate

bodhi svaha

Chant this mantra with your heart, as much as you can. Buddha in me greets the Buddha in you.

Narsingh mantra to remove all kind of obstacles

Atma Namaste ,In successful Mantra meditation, Mind dissolves in Buddhi and Buddhi dissolves in Chitta. Chitta dissolves in the Self, Witness or I-Consciousness.

This is essential for proper meditation. This sequential process has four parts to it: meditation by the mind, chanting of mantra by Buddhi, contemplation by Chitta, eventual dissolution in the Self. It goes from thought-initiation to application to contemplation to dissolution.
Chitta keeps you in the 'groove' . You need Chitta to keep meditation, concentration and contemplation in sync. Mind is a mechanical meditator; Buddhi is a fickle meditator; Chitta is a serene meditator. Your aim is to graduate to and dissolve in Chitta meditation and the self. Mind meditation and Buddhi meditation are out-bound meaning the thoughts are out-bound in the world of happenings; you are in the world of Nama and Rupa, names and forms. Chitta meditation is inbound in the sense it is in step with the Atman, the Inner Soul, the Witness. At this juncture the Chitta goes into Smrti mode (remembrance) and engages in deep contemplation.
For successful Mantra Meditation, an aspirant must have the following qualities.
Santi = Serenity. Mind must be brought under control and trained not to chase after sense-objects under the false belief that they provide happiness.
Dantah = Control of Sense-organs. One must strive to prevent the sense organs from exploring the world of sense objects and impinging on the mind with sensual experiences.
Param uparatah = Withdrawal of mind. Mind is trained to forget the sense enjoyments of the past and desist from fancied sensual imageries.
Shanti Yuktah = forbearance. One should train oneself not to be disturbed and distracted by frustrations of daily living.

We humans are always busy competing with one another, buying, selling, making, destroying. . . . Animals are always busy feeding, hunting, watching for danger, rearing their young. The more you do, the more you have to do and the more your hardships multiply-but the final outcome of all your toil and trouble will last no longer than a drawing on water with your finger.

Such an attitude can only amplify our difficulties. Mind is what creates both sansar and nirvana. Yet there is nothing much to it-it is just thoughts. Once you recognize thoughts as void, the mind will no longer have the power to deceive you. But as long as you take your deluded thoughts as real, they will continue to torment you mercilessly, as they have been doing throughout countless past lives. To gain control over the mind, you need to be aware of what to do and what to avoid, and you also need to be very alert and vigilant, constantly examining your thoughts, words, and actions. The mind inhabits the body like a visitor in a house. What-ever the body encounters, it is the mind that sees, hears, smells, tastes, or feels it. Once the mind has gone, the body is just a corpse. It doesn't care whether what is placed in front of it is beautiful or ugly. It doesn't care whether it is praised or insulted. It feels no pleasure when it is wrapped in brocade, no pain when it is burned. By itself, the body is an object not essentially different from a lump of earth or stone. And when body and mind separate, speech, which has been somewhere in between, disappears too, like a vanishing echo. Of body, speech, and mind, mind is what counts, and it is to mind that the Dharma must be applied.
When you will chant the trap will come into surface. There are five traps called as the the five poisons of
1-hatred,
2-jealousy,
3-desire,
4-ignorance, and
5-pride,
as well as the five aggregates-the five elements which, combined, make up confused human existence. Thus is pain caused, harm done, time wasted.
The way to tame the mind is, is to meditate, to recite the six-syllable Mani mantra (Om Mani Padme Hum) and look at the mind while it is still and while it is restless.

MANTRA AND AYURVEDA

Atma Namaste dear divine souls, hope u have read Gayatri mantra Article, Sharing with you one more previous article, In my secrets of mantra series, topic is how mantra helps in healing process and its relations with Ayurved.

Vivek
According to Ayurved Tridosh exists in our body, Vata (air), pitta(fire), kapha (water). These Three most powerful of Macrocosm are also the main structuring force in microcosm(body). These Three Dosh also represents in our body in subtle level.
1-For vata it is Prana- Life force energy ,in subtle form the ability to move thought and perception
2-For Pitta it is Tejas- Energy of fire or digestion, in subtle form power to digest thought and emotions
3-For kapha it is Ojas- underlying strength, in subtle form it represents psycho-physical being, our underlying capacity for patience and mental endurance.
Mantra helps in balancing the subtle elements -
TO INCREASE TEJAS -mantra chanting is powerful way. Mantra increases Tejas and Vaak ( speeches), and helps in kundalini awakening.
For Developing Tejas the mantra is Hrim. Another one is Hum but it should not be chanted carelessly as very powerful. Another one is Dum.
If the Tejas is too high if our spiritual practice creates too much heat, light or burning sensation we can use calming mantra Aim.
TO INCREASE PRAN-
Kali mantra krim, and Aim is useful. When our Pran energy is too agitated or disturbed in its movement, calming mantra Ram can be used. They help settle and ground the prana and restore its equilibrium.

TO INCREASE OJAS-
Mantra like Om and Ram aid in the development of Ojas.
The mantra Shreem of Goddes Laxmi is also useful as it possesses a watery nature. Ram has a protective and fortifying action.
